Prof. Johan Vande Walle, Bedwetting is a disease not a symptom

ESPU congress, October 2015, Prague Czech Republic

Q: Are, in your professional opinion, the parents of children with bedwetting usually not well informed about the medical condition? What are the usual myths that parents believe?

A: Parents and children are not well-informed about enuresis. As parents believe, there are no side effects of enuresis and so there is no reason for treatment.
