The second part of this interview with Professor Guy Bogaert, focuses on practical recommendations for physicians. In a first step, it is important to diagnose the underlying causes of bedwetting (e.g. nighttime polyuria or overactive bladder). Depending on the underlying cause, there are several options for dealing with bedwetting: a wait-and-see approach, a change of the drinking habits, medication or a bedwetting alarm.
